Before & After Care
Before
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning (including self-tanner) for at least 1–2 weeks prior.
- Stop using retinoids, acids (AHA/BHA), and exfoliants 3–5 days before treatment.
- Do not wax, thread, or undergo chemical peels in the treatment area for at least 1 week before.
- Keep skin clean and product-free on the day of your appointment—no makeup, creams, or oils.
- Let your provider know about any medications, recent procedures, or active skin conditions.
After
Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer and broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily.
Avoid direct sun exposure and always wear sunscreen for at least 1–2 weeks post-treatment.
Skip exfoliants, active skincare (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C) for 3–5 days after.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours.
Do not pick or scrub treated areas—let any flaking or darkened pigment shed naturally.
Stay hydrated and keep skin cool and calm with gentle products.
