Before & After Care
Before
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning (including self-tanners) for 2 weeks prior.
- Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment (do not wax, tweeze, or use depilatory creams).
- Avoid exfoliants, retinoids, and acids in the treatment area for 3–5 days before.
- Arrive with clean, product-free skin—no makeup, lotion, or deodorant.
- Inform your provider of any medications, especially antibiotics or photosensitizing drugs.
After
- Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF 30+ daily on treated areas.
- Do not wax, tweeze, or use hair removal creams between sessions—only shaving is recommended.
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours.
- Skip exfoliants, retinoids, and active products for at least 3–5 days post-treatment.
- Mild redness or sensitivity is normal and usually subsides within a few hours to a day.
