Before
Avoid sun exposure and tanning (including self-tanners) for 2 weeks prior.
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment (do not wax, tweeze, or use depilatory creams).
Avoid exfoliants, retinoids, and acids in the treatment area for 3–5 days before.
Arrive with clean, product-free skin—no makeup, lotion, or deodorant.
Inform your provider of any medications, especially antibiotics or photosensitizing drugs.
After
Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF 30+ daily on treated areas.
Do not wax, tweeze, or use hair removal creams between sessions—only shaving is recommended.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours.
Skip exfoliants, retinoids, and active products for at least 3–5 days post-treatment.
Mild redness or sensitivity is normal and usually subsides within a few hours to a day.
