Before & After Care
Before
Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, alcohol) for 3–5 days before to minimize bruising—only stop medications if approved by your doctor.
Discontinue active skincare products (like retinoids, AHA/BHA acids) on the treatment area 2–3 days before.
Avoid dental work 2 weeks before and after to reduce risk of infection or swelling.
Stay well-hydrated and arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.
Inform your provider of any allergies, recent procedures, or medical conditions.
After
Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for at least 24 hours.
Apply a cold compress gently to reduce swelling or bruising (avoid direct ice contact).
Skip makeup, alcohol, and vigorous exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid extreme temperatures, including saunas and hot showers, for 48 hours.
Sleep with your head elevated the first night to minimize swelling.
Results are visible immediately but may settle over 1–2 weeks.
